At Ted's Moving, we not only promise to deliver exceptional service; we promise a pleasurable experience. I have personally performed over 9500 moves and have an equal quantity of satisfied customers.

Our hours are:

  • Monday - Sunday, 9am-9pm, pending availability

Our local rates are:

  • $30/hr per mover
  • *$50 Flat travel fee; *Starting at, dependent on distance and manpower traveling
  • $30 Flat Pick-up truck fee (to use our pickup truck for moving purposes), in addition to the travel fee
  • *$150 Flat Pick-up truck with 16'x7' enclosed trailer fee; *Starting at, dependent on distance and manpower traveling


  • Protective padding for the home including main door, doorways, and banisters
  • Furniture pads for relocations in which we both load & unload; that are initiated through this website
  • Custom pads for washers, dryers, stoves, fridges, loveseats, sofas, motorcycles
  • Four-wheel, utility, appliance dollies
  • Piano Board
  • Tools & specialized gear

*We do not always have room to carry all of our gear with us to every move; these items are provided at our discretion or by customer request. Please notify me via the Contact Form "Comments" section if you see an item that you feel you will certainly need.

*Ted's Moving does not rent box trucks, nor do we get involved in the rental process

*Ted's Moving offers consistently reliable customer service and a 100% arrival record. As I perform every move personally, I do not handle ANY business over the phone to both focus on the customer I am helping currently, and to protect both myself and my clients from misunderstandings. Following submission of the Contact Form, all future communication will take place via email, which allows for quick reference to any information exchanged.

*I usually never meet customers until the day I come to move them. I am a small company, with a goal of keeping prices reasonable and quality extremely high. I am at every move personally, and average 600-750 moves every year. I am also the only one performing advertising and customer service duties. In other words, I do not have time to waste on in-home estimates - that is why my Contact Form is so detailed and prior to replying I view pictures of every address involved online, inside and out; and armed with all of this information my quotes are just as good as me being there in person. This saves me time and money, which in turn saves my customers time and money. If a customer really desires an in-home consultation, I can provide one for $100 flat, due at the time of the consult and includes up to one hour of guidance and discussion.
